Happy Donut Day | SAY IT WITH A SONG DIY

"I'm not done with that cupcake, so donut stop me now!"

"I have seen it do miracles, so donut stop believing in the magic of fried dough!"

Musicians and bands all over the world, such as Queen and Journey, have been getting it right for years. So let's just put some faith into them performers and, this Donut Day (yes, this is a thing), say it with a song!

We've already established that the world needs more old-fashioned guys and gals who occasionally ditch their phones for the sake of some good old pen and paper.

Controversial, I know. But if you get to eat a donut while you're at it, I mean, why not?

Donuts are a source of power, you must know. They are sweet, but intense. They get us energized and ready to tackle whatever the day may throw at us. Paired with some talented performers, we can basically run the world!

So why not send a few kind words to a loved one today?

I painted a donut onto some plain white cardboard paper using watercolors (probably should have used watercolor paper, but oh well, didn't have any) and glued a few bugle beads on top to mimic the sprinkles.

Want to cheer up a friend? Send a special "Donut worry, be happy" greeting card! Bobby McFerrin's wise words can lift anyone's spirits!

Really into the guy, but don't know how to tell him? The Pussycat Dolls know a little something about that, because "Donut cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me"?

Need your parents to just listen (just this once), while you explain your newest career plans? No Doubt has got you covered with "Donut speak"!

Probably best followed with a second, Bob Marley-inspired card "Donut worry about a thing"!

(Dear parents, you might want to respond with a simple "Donut you worry child [we've got your back when you realize you've made a big mistake]"card.)

(Admit it, Swedish House Mafia has always been your jam.)

Elton John knows what to say when you and your boyfriend are going through "a phase": "Donut go breaking my heart".

But should you decide to end it anyways, remember what Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons said: "Big girls donut cry".
